INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 200g buri fillets
Coating
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 1/2 tbsp black sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
Oil
- As needed salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
STEPS
Mix black sesame seeds and white sesame seeds in a bowl.
Cut buri fillets into bite-sized pieces, place them in a bowl, add sake, soy sauce, and grated ginger, and mix well. Let marinate for 10 minutes. Add potato starch and mix.
Coat the skin side of the buri pieces with the sesame seed mixture.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to about 1cm depth over medium heat. Pan-fry the buri pieces until both sides are golden brown.
