INGREDIENTS
Protein
- 🍗 200g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 🥬 1/4 cabbage
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper
- đź§… 1/2 green onion
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- đź’§ 100ml water
Chili Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 🍅 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
Thickener
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- đź’§ 1 tbsp water
STEPS
Chop green onion finely. Cut cabbage, bell pepper, and chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Mix all chili sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Heat half of the salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
Add cabbage and bell pepper to the pan and stir-fry briefly. Remove from the pan.
Heat the remaining salad oil in the pan. Add green onion and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add the chili sauce mixture and water, bringing it to a boil. Add the cornstarch slurry to thicken.
Return the stir-fried cabbage, chicken, and bell pepper to the pan. Mix well and serve.
