INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🥬 1/6 head cabbage
Protein
- 300g silken tofu
- 1 piece mentaiko
Garnish
- 🧅 Chopped green onion to taste
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 300ml water
Thickener
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 💧 2 tbsp water
STEPS
Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Make a slit in the mentaiko skin and extract the contents.
In a pot, add mentaiko and the seasoning ingredients (☆). Bring to a boil, then scoop tofu with a spoon and add it along with the cabbage. Cover and simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Add the potato starch slurry and cook until thickened. Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onion.
