INGREDIENTS
Bottom Layer
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- ¼ cup butterscotch chips
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
Filling
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- ¼ cup evaporated milk
- 1½ cups marshmallow creme
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups chopped salted peanuts
Caramel Layer
- 1 (14 ounce) package individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
- ¼ cup heavy cream
Top Layer
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- ¼ cup butterscotch chips
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
STEPS
Lightly grease a 9x13 inch dish.
Combine milk chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and creamy peanut butter for the bottom layer. Melt over low heat, spread evenly in pan, and refrigerate until set.
For the filling, melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in sugar and evaporated milk. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in marshmallow creme, peanut butter, and vanilla, then fold in peanuts. Spread over the bottom layer and return to the refrigerator.
Combine caramels and cream over low heat for the caramel layer. Cook and stir until smooth, then spread over filling and chill until set.
For the top layer, melt milk chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter over low heat. Spread over caramel layer and chill for 1 hour. Cut into 1-inch squares before serving.
