INGREDIENTS

- 🌰 40g roasted walnuts
Egg
- 🥚 1 egg
Oil
- 2 tbsp salad oil
Dry Ingredients
- 100g all-purpose flour
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- đź§€ 3 tbsp grated cheese
STEPS
Mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, grated cheese) in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg and mix in the salad oil. Add the dry mixture and stir until combined. Break the roasted walnuts into pieces and fold them into the dough.
Shape the dough into a flat log about 1cm high on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 20–25 minutes. Remove and lower the oven temperature to 160°C (320°F).
Once the baked log has cooled slightly, slice it into 8mm thick pieces. Arrange the slices cut-side up on the baking sheet and bake at 160°C (320°F) for 15–20 minutes.
