INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 250g chicken thigh
- 🥕 1/4 carrot, sliced
- đź§… 1/2 green onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- đź§„ 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- đź§€ 40g pizza cheese
- 🍚 400g cooked rice
Sauce
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- đź§‚ 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/4-1/2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
STEPS
Slice the carrot diagonally into thin pieces and slice the green onion diagonally.
Cut the chicken thigh into large bite-sized pieces.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl to prepare the sauce.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and sauté chicken and grated garlic over medium heat until cooked. Add carrot and stir-fry until softened.
Add green onion and continue stir-frying until softened. Pour in the sauce and cook until the liquid reduces and the mixture becomes thick.
Add cheese, cover the pan, and heat until the cheese melts. Serve the dakgalbi over bowls of cooked rice.
