INGREDIENTS
Wrapper
- 20 gyoza wrappers
Meat
- 150g minced pork
Vegetable
- 1/2 bunch chives, finely chopped
Cheese
- đź§€ 50g shredded pizza cheese
Oil
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
STEPS
Finely chop the chives.
Mix minced pork, chives, sake, salt, and pepper in a bowl until sticky. Divide into 10 portions.
Place filling and 1/10 of cheese on a gyoza wrapper. Wet the edges with water and seal with another wrapper, creating pleats. Repeat for all 10 pieces.
Heat 1/2 tbsp sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Place half the gyoza in the pan and cook until browned. Add 50ml water, cover, and steam for 2 minutes. Remove the lid, evaporate water, and drizzle 1/2 tbsp sesame oil around the edges. Cook until crispy. Repeat for the remaining gyoza.
