INGREDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 300g cooked rice
Meat
- 🥓 8 slices thinly sliced pork belly
Cheese
- đź§€ 36g cream cheese, cut into 1cm cubes
Seasoning
- 2g dried green seaweed (aonori)
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- đź§‚ 2 tbsp concentrated soy sauce (3x strength)
STEPS
Cut cream cheese into 1cm cubes.
In a bowl, mix cooked rice, cream cheese, and dried green seaweed gently. Divide into 4 portions and shape into oval rice balls using plastic wrap.
Wrap each rice ball with one slice of pork belly vertically, then wrap horizontally with another slice. Coat with potato starch. Repeat for all 4 rice balls.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and place the wrapped rice balls seam-side down. Cook while rolling until browned and cooked through. Add concentrated soy sauce and coat evenly.
