INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 4 pieces of mochi
- 🍗 200g chicken thigh
- 🍄 1/2 pack shimeji mushrooms
- 🥬 1/4 head of cabbage
- 1/2 bunch of chives
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Sauce Ingredients
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 2 tsp sugar
- 🧄 1 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
Cheese Sauce
- 🧀 100g shredded pizza cheese
- 🥛 3 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
STEPS
Cut the mochi and cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Trim the root of the shimeji mushrooms and separate them into smaller pieces. Cut the chives into 4cm lengths.
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate with the sauce ingredients (☆) in a bowl for 15 minutes. Add the cabbage, shimeji mushrooms, and chives to the bowl and mix.
In a separate bowl, mix the cheese sauce ingredients (★).
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and vegetable mixture and stir-fry until the chicken changes color. Add the mochi, cover with a lid, and steam over low heat for 4 minutes.
Push the ingredients to the side of the pan and pour the cheese sauce into the center. Cover with a lid and cook until the cheese melts.
