INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🥕 1 carrot, julienned
- đź§… Chopped green onion, as needed
Meat
- 100g ground chicken
Oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp sake
- đź§‚ Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp potato starch
Soup Base
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- đź’§ 400ml water
STEPS
Julienne the carrot.
Mix ground chicken with ginger, sake, salt, pepper, and potato starch in a bowl.
Add water, sake, chicken stock powder, and salt and pepper to a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the chicken mixture into the boiling soup. Skim off any foam, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Add the julienned carrot to the pot, bring to a boil again, cover, and simmer on low heat for 3 minutes.
Turn off the heat, add sesame oil, and stir. Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onion.
