INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken breast
- đź§… 1/2 onion (100g), sliced
- 2 green peppers (60g), sliced
- 🥕 1/4 carrot (35g), julienned
- 1.5 tbsp salad oil
Chicken Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp potato starch
Nanban Sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- đź’§ 100ml water
- 1/2 tsp sliced red chili
STEPS
Slice the onion thinly and soak in water. Drain well. Slice green peppers diagonally and julienne the carrot.
Cut chicken breast into 1cm slices diagonally. Season with sake, salt, and pepper, then coat with potato starch.
Mix Nanban sauce ingredients in a bowl and add the prepared vegetables. Toss well.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 2 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
Add cooked chicken to the Nanban sauce while warm. Toss gently and refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving.
