INGREDIENTS
Main
- 2 frozen udon noodles
- 🍗 150g chicken thigh
- đź§… 80g green onion (1/2 stalk)
- 1 tsp salad oil
Broth
- đź’§ 600cc water
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 2.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
Garnish
- Pinch of shichimi togarashi
STEPS
Cut the green onion into 4cm pieces.
Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Place chicken skin-side down and add green onion to the pan. Cook until both are well browned, flipping occasionally.
Add the broth ingredients (water, mirin, soy sauce, dashi powder) and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 8 minutes.
Heat the frozen udon noodles in the microwave according to package instructions. Divide into bowls and pour the broth mixture over. Sprinkle with shichimi togarashi.
