INGREDIENTS
Chicken and Coating
- 🥚 1 egg, beaten
- 2 ounces dry bread crumbs
- 🍗 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
Sauce and Cheese
- ¾ (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 🧀 2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 🧀 ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium baking sheet.
Pour egg into a shallow bowl and bread crumbs into another. Dip chicken into egg, coat with bread crumbs, and place on the baking sheet.
Bake chicken in the oven until no longer pink, about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven.
Pour half the spaghetti sauce into a 7x11-inch baking dish. Place chicken over the sauce, cover with remaining sauce, and sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
Bake again until heated through and cheese has melted, about 20 minutes.
