INGREDIENTS
Protein
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 1 piece grated ginger
- 🥬 100g shredded cabbage
Condiments
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tsp salad oil
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- đź§‚ 2 tbsp concentrated soy sauce
STEPS
Grate the ginger.
Trim excess fat and sinew from the chicken thigh, cut into bite-sized pieces, and coat with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, place the chicken skin-side down, and cook for about 2 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes, then blot excess oil with a paper towel.
Add grated ginger and the seasoning ingredients (sake, sugar, soy sauce) to the pan. Stir-fry until the chicken is fully cooked.
Serve the ginger stir-fry on a bed of shredded cabbage.
