INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 500g chicken thighs
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Sauce
- 20g capers
- 🧄 2 cloves garlic
- 100ml white wine
- 🧈 20g salted butter
- 150ml water
- 1/2 tsp consomme powder
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 🧂 Pinch of pepper
STEPS
Thinly slice the garlic and roughly chop the capers.
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then coat them with all-purpose flour.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over low heat, place the chicken skin-side down, and cook until golden. Flip and cook for another 3–4 minutes.
Add the sauce ingredients (capers, garlic, white wine, butter, water, consomme, salt, and pepper) to the pan. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes.
Remove the chicken and slice it into 2cm-wide pieces. Plate the chicken and pour the sauce over it.
