INGREDIENTS
Wrapper
- 4 spring roll wrappers
Main Ingredients
- 4 chikuwa
- 4 slices of ham
- đź§€ 20g pizza cheese
Cooking Oil
- sufficient salad oil for frying
Binding Mixture
- 1 tbsp flour
- đź’§ 1 tbsp water
STEPS
Make a vertical cut in each chikuwa.
Stuff each chikuwa with 1/4 of the pizza cheese and wrap it with a slice of ham.
Place the ham-wrapped chikuwa on a spring roll wrapper and roll it up. Seal the edge with the flour-water mixture. Repeat for all 4 rolls.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 160°C (about 2cm depth). Fry the rolls, turning occasionally, until golden brown. Remove and drain excess oil.
