INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 30g glass noodles
- 150g thinly sliced pork belly
- 200g napa cabbage
- 🥕 50g carrot, sliced
- 100g shimeji mushrooms
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- Pinch of pepper
- 100ml water
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
STEPS
Prepare all ingredients by slicing the carrot, separating the shimeji mushrooms, and chopping the napa cabbage.
In a frying pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
Layer the pork belly, napa cabbage, carrot, and shimeji mushrooms in the pan.
Mix the seasonings (sake, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, pepper, water, and chili flakes) in a bowl and pour over the ingredients in the pan.
Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes until the pork is cooked and vegetables are tender.
Add glass noodles and cook for an additional 5 minutes until softened.
Serve hot and enjoy your Chinese-style simmered pork and napa cabbage.
