- 🥛 1 cup Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk
- 🍁 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 🧂 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 🧂 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 🍎 2 medium apples, thinly sliced
- 🌰 1/2 cup Blue Diamond Almonds
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a standard-sized loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside. Cut bread into 1-inch thick slices.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir in Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk. Soak sliced bread in the mixture, turning to coat both sides.
Slice apples into thin rings and remove the core using a corer or a metal frosting tip.
Layer soaked bread slices and apples in the prepared loaf pan, alternating between 1 slice of bread and 3 slices of apple. Pour any leftover egg mixture over the loaf. Sprinkle with chopped Blue Diamond Almonds and cover loosely with foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, removing foil after 30 minutes. Once baked, allow to cool for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle loaf with powdered sugar, slice using a bread knife, and drizzle with maple syrup to serve.
