INGREDIENTS
Base Ingredients
- 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 (11 ounce) cans French bread dough
Butter & Dairy
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 🥛 3 tablespoons whole milk
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8.5 x 4.5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray and parchment paper.
Mix dark brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl to create the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Roll one can of French bread dough into a 10 x 12-inch rectangle. Spread butter and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly.
Cut the dough into 12 rectangles and stack them upright in the loaf pan. Repeat for the second can of dough.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, tenting with foil after 30 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then lift the bread out using parchment paper.
Prepare glaze by beating cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
Drizzle glaze over the cooled bread and serve with extra glaze on the side.
