INGREDIENTS
Base Mixture
- 🧈 1/2 cup salted butter
- 🍬 1 (16-ounce) bag mini marshmallows
- 1 (13-ounce) jar marshmallow cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 cups crisp rice cereal
STEPS
Grease a 9x13 inch pan with nonstick spray.
Coarsely crush cookies in a resealable bag using a rolling pin to create larger, bite-sized pieces with some powdery bits.
Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat, then add mini marshmallows and 1/2 the jar of marshmallow cream. Reduce heat to medium-low, and stir until melted and combined. Add vanilla extract.
Remove from heat. Add crisp rice cereal and powder from crushed cookies into the mixture. Mix until combined. Gently fold in larger cookie pieces.
Dollop half of the remaining marshmallow cream on top, folding partially. Repeat with the rest of the cream, leaving visible marshmallow streaks.
Pour mixture into the prepared pan, press into an even layer, and compress slightly with a spatula.
Let the pan cool at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour before slicing and serving.
