INGREDIENTS
Dough & Seasoning
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 🧂 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 💧 3/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon flour
Filling & Toppings
- 1/2 cup creamy Caesar dressing
- 🥓 6 slices bacon
- 1 cup shredded Italian cheeses
- 3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 🥚 1 large egg
- 🍗 Chopped chicken breast
- Green onions, chopped
STEPS
Let pizza dough rest at room temperature for about 1 hour before using.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lay bacon strips in a single layer.
Bake bacon until browned and crisp, about 15 minutes. Drain on paper towels and crumble after cooling. Leave oven on.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high. Add oil. Sear chicken on one side for 5 minutes, flip, and cook for 1 minute.
Add water into skillet and bake chicken in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), about 17-20 minutes. Let cool and chop.
Increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Sprinkle flour on a large work surface. Divide pizza dough into 3 portions, roll into large circles (12-13 inches wide). Assemble filling with Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, chicken, bacon, green onions, and shredded Italian cheeses as instructed.
Roll and seal dough, shape each portion into a log. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese.
Bake filled dough logs at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes until golden brown.
