INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 🧅 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth, low-sodium
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cups crumbled cornbread
- 🥚 1/2 cup egg substitute
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
STEPS
Wash hands with soap and water.
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly spray an 8-inch square baking pan with vegetable oil spray.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add green onions and celery, cooking for 4-5 minutes until tender. Stir in chicken broth, sage, and black pepper.
In a large bowl, mix crumbled cornbread with vegetable mixture, egg substitute, and chopped pecans.
Transfer the mix to the prepared baking pan, bake for 30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Transfer cooked dressing to a serving bowl and serve.
