- 🥛 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese
Protein
- 🥓 4 slices bacon
- 🥚 4 large eggs
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 large yellow onion, thinly sliced

STEPS
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and prick the crust bottom and sides with a fork. Bake crust for 5 minutes and set aside.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat and sauté onions until caramelized, about 20 minutes. Season with salt and cayenne. Cool and drain.
Cook bacon in the same skillet until just cooked. Drain and crumble when cooled. Set aside.
Whisk eggs and cream in a bowl. Season with salt, black pepper, and cayenne.
Layer sautéed onions, crumbled bacon, and Cheddar cheese in the prepared crust. Pour the egg mixture over the top.
Bake the quiche for 30-45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
