INGREDIENTS
Pasta and Sauces
- 🍝 1 pound penne pasta
- 2 (15-ounce) jars Alfredo sauce
- 3/4 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
Dairy

- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 🧀 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Vegetables and Herbs
- 🧄 2 cloves garlic
- 1 (3-ounce) jar capers
- 🌿 1 tablespoon chopped fresh Italian parsley

- 🍗 3 1/2 cups cooked chicken

STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook penne until tender yet firm, about 11 minutes, then drain.
Zest the lemon to yield 1 teaspoon zest and juice it to yield 3 tablespoons juice.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, and sauté garlic until tender, about 2–3 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix sautéed garlic, lemon juice, Alfredo sauce, ricotta, chicken broth, capers, and black pepper. Add cooked pasta and chicken, tossing them together.
Spread the mixture into the greased baking dish.
Combine Parmesan cheese with lemon zest, then sprinkle over the pasta in the dish.
Bake the dish uncovered for 35–40 minutes until hot and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
