INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 2 fillets horse mackerel (140g)
Breading
- 🌾 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
- 🍞 Sufficient breadcrumbs
Frying
- Sufficient salad oil
Curry Mayo Sauce
- 🥫 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 🧂 Pinch of black pepper
- 🥛 1 tbsp milk
- 🌿 1/2 tbsp chopped parsley
STEPS
Mix flour and 1 tsp curry powder in a bowl.
Cut horse mackerel into bite-sized pieces.
Season mackerel with salt and pepper, coat with the flour mixture, shake off excess, dip in beaten egg, and cover with breadcrumbs.
Heat salad oil to 170°C in a pot, fry the mackerel until golden brown.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl to prepare curry mayo sauce.
Plate the fried mackerel and serve with curry mayo sauce.
