INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 1 head of cabbage, chopped
- 2 medium carrots, grated
- 🧅 1 small onion, sliced

- red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 🧂 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
Liquids
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
STEPS
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Blanch the chopped cabbage in boiling water for 1 minute, then discard the water.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cabbage, grated carrots, sliced onion, red pepper flakes, oregano, olive oil, salt, brown sugar, vinegar, and water.
Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours before serving.
