INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 200g chicken liver
Vegetables
- 220g daikon, cut into chunks
- 50g celery, sliced diagonally
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic, minced
Dairy
- 🥛 Enough milk to soak liver
Seasonings
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 sprig parsley
Sauce Ingredients
- 200g canned chopped tomatoes
- 100ml water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1/2 tsp salt
- đź§‚ Pinch of pepper
STEPS
Cut the chicken liver into bite-sized pieces. Soak in milk for 15–20 minutes to remove odor, rinse with water, and pat dry. Coat with salt, pepper, and flour in a plastic bag.
Cut the daikon into chunks. Slice celery diagonally and remove its strings with a peeler. Mince the garlic after removing its core.
Heat olive oil and garlic in a pot over low heat until fragrant. Add chicken liver and cook over medium heat until its color changes.
Add daikon and celery, stir until coated with oil. Add sauce ingredients, mix, cover, and simmer on low heat for 25 minutes. Uncover and cook over medium heat until the liquid reduces.
Serve on a plate and garnish with parsley leaves.
