    • 🧀 60g pizza cheese
    • 🧂 Pinch of salt

    • 150g ground meat
    • 🧅 1/6 onion grated
    • 🧄 1 clove garlic grated
    • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
  • White Sauce

    • 🧅 1/4 onion minced
    • 🧈 30g salted butter
    • 3 tbsp flour
    • 🥛 1.5 cups milk
    • 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
    • Pinch of pepper

Prepare the daikon: Peel and slice the daikon into 2mm thick rounds. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and microwave for 6 minutes at 600W. Pat dry with paper towels.

Make the meat sauce: Combine all meat sauce ingredients in a pan and mix well. Cook over medium heat for 6 minutes until the liquid evaporates.

Make the white sauce: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add minced onion and sauté for 1.5 minutes until translucent. Sprinkle flour and cook until no longer powdery. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.

Layer and bake: Preheat the oven to 220°C. In a baking dish, layer 1/3 of the daikon slices, followed by half of the meat sauce and half of the white sauce. Repeat with another layer of daikon and cheese, then finish with the remaining meat sauce, white sauce, daikon, and cheese. Bake for 20 minutes.
