  • Vegetables

    • 100g bean sprouts
  • Seasoning

    • 2 tsp sake
    • 1 tsp soy sauce

    • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • 2 tsp potato starch
  • Dipping Sauce

    • 1.5 tbsp vinegar
    • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce

Place ground pork and all ā˜† seasonings into a plastic bag. Knead until sticky. Add bean sprouts and knead while breaking them into smaller pieces.

Cut the tip of the plastic bag. Squeeze the mixture into 15 portions onto a microwave-safe dish. Cover each portion with a shumai wrapper and shape into a round form.

Sprinkle 2 tbsp of water over the shumai. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 6–7 minutes until the meat is cooked through.

Serve on a plate with the dipping sauce made of vinegar and soy sauce.
