INGREDIENTS
Wrapper
- 15 shumai wrappers
Meat
- 150g ground pork
Vegetables
- 100g bean sprouts
Seasoning
- 2 tsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- š§ A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp potato starch
Dipping Sauce
- 1.5 tbsp vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Place ground pork and all ā seasonings into a plastic bag. Knead until sticky. Add bean sprouts and knead while breaking them into smaller pieces.
Cut the tip of the plastic bag. Squeeze the mixture into 15 portions onto a microwave-safe dish. Cover each portion with a shumai wrapper and shape into a round form.
Sprinkle 2 tbsp of water over the shumai. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 6ā7 minutes until the meat is cooked through.
Serve on a plate with the dipping sauce made of vinegar and soy sauce.
