INGREDIENTS
Sweeteners
- Âľ cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
Eggs
- 🥚 4 egg yolks
- 🥚 4 egg whites
Chocolate & Butter
- 🍫 6 ounces dark chocolate
- Âľ stick butter
Seasoning
- 1 pinch salt
STEPS
Beat Âľ cup white sugar and egg yolks together in a bowl.
Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring after each interval, 1 to 3 minutes. Gradually add butter and beat until smooth. Combine with the egg yolk mixture.
Beat egg whites and salt together in a bowl until stiff peaks form. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar over and beat for 2 minutes more.
Fold beaten egg whites into the chocolate mixture and stir gently until smooth. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
