INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 32 ounces vanilla yogurt, divided
- 🍓 1 pint strawberries
- 3/4 cup strawberry preserves
- 💧 1 tablespoon water
- 2 cups blueberries, rinsed and dried
- 3/4 cup blueberry preserves
Optional Garnish
- 🍓 Fresh strawberry slices
- Whole berries
- Blueberries
STEPS
Place a layer of angel food cake pieces in the bottom of a trifle dish or glass bowl. Spread a thin layer of yogurt over the cake layer.
Add a single layer of sliced strawberries. Heat strawberry preserves with 1 tablespoon water in a microwave-safe bowl on High until liquefied (1-2 minutes), stirring to make syrup. Drizzle some syrup over the strawberry layer.
Add another cake layer and spread yogurt over it. Add a layer of blueberries and drizzle melted blueberry preserves (prepared in the same way as the strawberry syrup) over the blueberry layer.
Repeat the layering process (cake, yogurt, strawberries or blueberries, and syrup) until the bowl is filled, ending with a final layer of yogurt.
Garnish with fresh strawberry slices, whole berries, and blueberries. Drizzle with any remaining syrup.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
