INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🥚 2 eggs
- 🍚 1 bowl cooked rice
Vegetables
- đź§… 1/4 onion, chopped
- đź§… 2/3 cup chopped green onion
- 🥕 1/5 carrot, chopped
Seasonings
- đź§‚ 1 tsp salt
- To taste ground pepper
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Cooking Oil
- Adequate amount of cooking oil
STEPS
Chop green onion, onion, and carrot finely. Optionally, add chili peppers for spice.
Heat cooking oil in a pan and sauté the green onion until fragrant, but avoid burning.
Add chopped carrot and onion to the pan and stir-fry until softened.
Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and crack 2 eggs into the empty space. Season with salt and scramble.
Add cooked rice and 1 tbsp oyster sauce to the pan. Mix everything together and stir-fry until evenly combined.
Sprinkle 1 tbsp sesame seeds and ground pepper. Stir-fry briefly, then turn off the heat and add 1 tbsp sesame oil.
Pack the fried rice into a round or square bowl, then invert onto a plate for presentation. Optionally, drizzle ketchup for a kid-friendly version.
