INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 200g ground chicken
Vegetables
- 1 pack enoki mushrooms
- 8 shiso leaves
Eggs
- 🥚 1 egg
Seasonings
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Cut the root of the enoki mushrooms and slice them into 1cm pieces.
In a bowl, mix ground chicken, enoki mushrooms, egg, grated ginger, and potato starch thoroughly. Divide into 8 portions.
Lay out shiso leaves and place the mixture on top, shaping and wrapping them.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over low heat. Cook the wrapped mixture for about 3 minutes until browned. Flip and cover with a lid, cooking on low heat for another 4 minutes.
Add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce) and simmer over medium heat until the mixture is coated.
