- 1 sheet fish cake
- 🍚 1 bowl cooked rice

- đź§… 1/4 green onion, sliced
- 1/3 tbsp chili powder
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
Seasonings
- 1/2 tbsp gochujang
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- đź§‚ 1 pinch black pepper
- đź’§ 2 tbsp water
STEPS
Slice the green onion into 1 cm pieces and prepare 1 sheet of fish cake by cutting it into 1 cm strips.
Mix all the seasoning ingredients (gochujang, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, mirin, corn syrup, black pepper, and water) in a bowl.
Heat 3 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan over low heat. Add minced garlic and stir-fry until golden brown.
Add the sliced green onion to the pan and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
Add 1/3 tbsp of chili powder and stir-fry for another 30 seconds.
Add the sliced fish cake and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Then pour in the prepared seasoning sauce and stir-fry for another 30 seconds.
Add 1 bowl of cooked rice to the pan and increase the heat to high. Stir-fry until the rice is evenly coated with the sauce.
Reduce the heat to medium and let the rice sit undisturbed for 20 seconds to create a crispy texture.
Optionally, garnish with seaweed flakes or a fried egg before serving.
