INGREDIENTS

- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels, remove excess fat, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Rub garlic powder evenly over the chicken and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken skin-side down and cook for 3 minutes until browned. Flip the chicken, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 2 minutes until fully cooked.
Add the seasoning mixture (sake, mirin, soy sauce) to the pan, increase to medium heat, and cook while stirring until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
