INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
Wet Ingredients - Batter
- 🎃 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 🥚 2 eggs
- 🥛 ¼ cup milk
- 🧈 ¼ cup butter, softened
Glaze Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups confectioners' sugar
- 🧈 ¼ cup butter, melted
- 💧 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and baking soda in a bowl. Add pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, and softened butter. Beat the mixture with an electric hand mixer on low speed until combined into a batter. Spoon the batter into a donut pan.
Bake the donuts in the preheated oven until they spring back when touched, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Prepare the glaze by whisking confectioners' sugar, melted butter, water, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
Dip the warm donuts into the glaze and let any excess drip back into the bowl. Place the glazed donuts on the prepared baking sheet to cool.

💡 For a crunchier finish, coat the donuts in cinnamon sugar instead of the glaze.Use a piping bag to fill the donut pan evenly for consistent shapes and sizes. If you don't have a donut pan, bake the batter in a muffin tin and create 'donut muffins'.Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for longer storage. You can add a pinch of cinnamon to the glaze for an extra layer of spice.
