INGREDIENTS
Fish
- š 2 fillets of Spanish mackerel
Vegetables
- š§ 1/2 stalk of green onion, sliced
- š§ 5 cm of green onion tops
- A handful of kaiware sprouts
Condiments
- 1 tsp yuzu pepper
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp concentrated mentuyu
Cooking Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
STEPS
Slice the green onion diagonally and trim the kaiware sprouts.
Place the Spanish mackerel fillets, yuzu pepper, sake, mentuyu, and green onion tops in a bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan and place the mackerel skin-side down.
Flip the mackerel once the skin is golden brown and add the sliced green onions.
Steam for about 2 minutes and serve with kaiware sprouts.
