INGREDIENTS
Marinade
- ½ cup teriyaki sauce
- ½ cup apple juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 🧄 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
Main
- 🐟 2 (6 ounce) salmon fillets
STEPS
Whisk together teriyaki sauce, apple juice, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, and black pepper in a small bowl until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets in a glass baking dish. Pour marinade over the fillets, cover, and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours.
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
Remove salmon fillets from the marinade and shake off excess liquid. Pour the marinade into a small saucepan, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until reduced, about 5 minutes.
Cook the salmon fillets on the preheated grill for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serve the grilled fillets with the reduced marinade drizzled over the top.

💡 For a sweeter flavor, you can add more brown sugar to the marinade.Allow the marinade to completely cool before pouring over the salmon.Be careful not to overcook the salmon as it can become dry.
