INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🐟 2 cans of tuna (100g each)
- 🍚 4 cups cooked rice
- 🥓 2 strips of bacon
- 🧅 1/4 onion, finely chopped
- 🥫 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 🟩 1 sheet of seaweed
- 🧂 5 tbsp soy sauce or tsuyu
- A pinch of pepper
- 坚果 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
STEPS
Drain the oil from 2 cans of tuna using a sieve.
Finely chop 2 strips of bacon and 1/4 onion.
Cook the bacon in a dry pan over medium heat, then add the onion and sauté together.
Mix the drained tuna, sautéed bacon and onion, 4 tbsp mayonnaise, and a pinch of pepper in a bowl.
Mix 4 cups of cooked rice with 1 tbsp sesame seeds and 1 tbsp sesame oil.
Flatten the rice, place the tuna mixture in the center, and shape into balls or triangles.
Optional: Use a triangular mold to shape the onigiri.
Pan-fry the onigiri in a dry pan over medium-low heat until golden brown.
Brush the onigiri with soy sauce or tsuyu while the pan is still warm.
