INGREDIENTS
Salad Dressing
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons submarine dressing
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 🧅 1/4 cup red onion
- 1 tablespoon pepperoncini
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 🧂 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cups iceberg lettuce
Bread
- 1 package Hawaiian rolls
Meats
- 4 slices Black Forest ham
- 3 slices prosciutto
- 5 thin slices salami
- 3 slices pepperoni
Cheese
- 3 slices provolone cheese
- 1/4 pound fresh mozzarella
Other
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, submarine dressing, and mustard until smooth, then add onions, pepperoncini, basil, oregano, and black pepper. Toss in lettuce and set aside.
Slice the rolls horizontally without separating them, and brush with olive oil.
Layer ham, prosciutto, salami, and pepperoni evenly on roll halves, then bake for 5 minutes.
Add provolone to prosciutto side and mozzarella on pepperoni side. Return to oven and bake until cheese melts, about 10 minutes.
Remove from oven, spoon salad over provolone, layer tomatoes (optional), and add roll tops. Slice into sliders and serve warm.
