INGREDIENTS
Main
- 25g dried hijiki
- 2 large umeboshi
- 🌰 4 tbsp ground white sesame
Seasoning
- 1 cup dashi
- đź§‚ 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Soak the dried hijiki in water for about 10 minutes, then drain and rinse well.
Pit the umeboshi and mash them into a paste.
In a pot, combine the dashi, soy sauce, and mashed umeboshi. Bring to a simmer.
Add the hijiki to the pot and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the ground white sesame and cook for another 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool before storing or serving.
