INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 onion, chopped
- 1 pound whole Brussels sprouts
Seasoning
- 🧂 1 teaspoon salt
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Pantry
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ cup vegetable broth
STEPS
Turn on the pressure cooker (Instant Pot) and select the Sauté function. Heat olive oil in the pot and add chopped onions, stirring until translucent, about 2 minutes.
Add Brussels sprouts and cook for 1 more minute. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour vegetable broth over the Brussels sprouts. Close and lock the lid, and select high pressure. Set timer for 3 minutes. Allow 10–15 minutes for pressure to build.
Release pressure carefully using the quick-release method (about 5 minutes). Unlock and remove the lid.
