    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
    • 1 tbsp potato starch

Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and thinly slice the green onion diagonally.

Remove the bones and skin from the sardines, then cut them into smaller pieces. Blend the sardines with the seasoning ingredients (☆) in a food processor until smooth to make the tsukimi mixture.

Heat water in a pot and scoop the tsukimi mixture into bite-sized portions using a spoon. Add them to the boiling water. Skim off any foam and simmer on medium-low heat for 5-6 minutes. Add the cabbage and green onion, cover, and cook for another 3 minutes.
