INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍚 1 cup of Japanese sticky rice
- 💧 1.5 cups water
- 🧂 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 sheets of nori
Optional Fillings
- 🐟 2 tablespoons tuna
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
STEPS
Thoroughly wash and drain the rice, then place it in a pot with water and bring to a boil.
After boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer covered for 10-15 minutes until the water is absorbed.
Once cooled, shape the rice into fist-sized balls with lightly salted hands.
Add a desired filling, such as a tuna and mayonnaise mixture, into the center and reshape into a ball.
Finally, wrap the rice balls with nori sheets in your preferred shapes.
