INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredient
- 1/2 stick white kamaboko
Cooking Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp powdered cheese
- A pinch of black pepper
STEPS
Slice the kamaboko into thin slices, about 1mm thick.
Arrange the kamaboko slices on a microwave-safe plate without overlapping. Microwave at 600W for about 2 minutes and 30 seconds without covering.
Flip the slices and microwave again at 600W for another 2 minutes or until fully dried.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 160°C, ensuring the oil is about 1cm deep. Fry the dried kamaboko slices for about 1 minute until lightly golden.
Mix the fried kamaboko slices with powdered cheese and black pepper in a bowl.
