    • 1 tsp dashi powder
    • 100g cake flour

Cut the boiled octopus into bite-sized pieces.

In a bowl, beat the egg and mix in milk, water, and dashi powder. Add cake flour and mix until smooth.

Heat the takoyaki pan and spread salad oil evenly using a paper towel. Pour batter into each mold halfway, then add octopus, green onion, red ginger, and tempura flakes. Fill the molds to overflowing with more batter.

Cook for 3–5 minutes until golden brown, then use skewers to push the overflowed batter into the molds and flip the takoyaki.

Once evenly browned, plate the takoyaki and top with takoyaki sauce, bonito flakes, and aonori.
