INGREDIENTS
Main
- 1/3 block konnyaku (about 100g)
- 2 1/2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
- đź§‚ Soy sauce as needed
- Prepared mustard as needed
- Vegetable oil as needed
Seasoning
- đź§„ 1/2 clove grated garlic
- đź§‚ 1 tsp soy sauce
Batter
- 2 tsp all-purpose flour
- đź’§ 2 tsp water
- All-purpose flour as needed
STEPS
Cut the konnyaku into bite-sized pieces and boil them briefly to remove any odor.
Marinate the konnyaku in grated garlic and soy sauce for about 10 minutes.
Mix the flour and water to create a thin batter.
Coat the konnyaku pieces in the batter, then dredge them in panko breadcrumbs.
Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the coated konnyaku until golden brown on all sides.
Serve with soy sauce and mustard on the side for dipping.
