INGREDIENTS

- 🥔 3 medium potatoes, diced
- đź§… 1/2 onion, sliced
Seasonings
- đź§‚ 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 5 tbsp corn syrup
- đź’§ 300 ml water
- A pinch of chili flakes
- 🌰 Sesame seeds for garnish
STEPS
Dice the potatoes into cubes and soak them in a mixture of 0.5 tbsp salt and 5 tbsp corn syrup for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the soaked potatoes until they are glossy and slightly golden.
Reserve the soaking liquid and set it aside.
Add the reserved soaking liquid, soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, onion slices, and chili flakes to the pan. Simmer on low heat.
Cook until the sauce thickens and the potatoes are fully coated.
Garnish with sesame seeds and serve warm.
