INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 1 chicken breast
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 🥚 1 egg yolk
- đź§… Chopped green onion, as needed
- Sesame seeds, as needed
Sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- đź§‚ 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp gochujang
STEPS
Remove the skin from the chicken breast and cut into bite-sized pieces about 1 cm wide. Lightly pound with the back of a knife.
Mix soy sauce, sake, and grated ginger in a bowl. Add the chicken and massage the marinade into the meat.
Add cornstarch to the chicken and massage again to coat evenly.
Bring a pot of water to a boil, then reduce to low heat. Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes without stirring.
Transfer the cooked chicken to ice water to cool. Once chilled, drain the water thoroughly.
Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Plate the chicken, top with egg yolk, chopped green onion, and sesame seeds. Drizzle the sauce over the chicken.
