    • 2 tbsp sake

    • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Heat sesame oil in a pan and fry the Pacific saury skin-side down over medium heat until browned. Flip and lightly fry the other side.

Add soaked rice, ginger, all seasoning ingredients except sesame oil, and water to the rice cooker. Mix well and level the rice. Place the fried Pacific saury on top and drizzle sesame oil. Cook as usual.

Once cooked, add ground sesame seeds and gently mix. Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.
